Police are investigating how the caravan ended up in the hedge

A pensioner was shocked to wake up and find a caravan parked in the hedge of her front garden on Saturday morning.
Rose Tarr, 70, from Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire said her hedge was
"ruined" by the caravan and that she had no idea how it got there.
She said: "I was sat in my dining room last night when I heard this huge bang. I thought a shelf might have fallen down in the kitchen, but I couldn't see anything so I forgot about it.
"Then this morning I went outside at six o'clock and saw a caravan sat in my hedge.
We are not sure whether it has been abandoned or whether it came off the
back of someone's car because it wasn't secured properly

"It was only about three yards away from the kitchen wall and it's ruined my hedge. There's a hole about two yards wide.
"I can't think how it got there. I suppose it might have come off a car when it was coming round the corner," she added.
Mrs Tarr and her husband Thomas, also 70, reported the incident to Gloucestershire Police, who said the matter was now being investigated.
A spokesman said: "It is still there and we are trying to make some inquiries to work out who owns the caravan.
"We are not sure whether it has been abandoned or whether it came off the
back of someone's car because it wasn't secured properly."
