Supertram
Some Supertram services were halted for a time
A motorist has died in Sheffield after his car collided with a pole carrying wires for Supertram.

It happened on Donetsk way in Owlthorpe.

A police patrol came across the accident at 0234 BST on Saturday.

The 47-year-old driver of the Renault Megane was taken to the Northern General Hospital where he died from his injuries.

Supertram services between Halfway and Birley Lane were halted for several hours on Saturday morning while power lines were repaired.

Police say they are trying to find anyone who saw the crash or saw how the car was being driven before the collision.
