Girl, 14, attacked in Bath
A teenage girl was indecently assaulted in Bath on Thursday night.

The attack happened at about 1930 BST hours after a cyclist engaged two 14-year-old girls in conversation on the cycle path at Bathhampton.

When an offer to ride alongside the teengers was turned down, the man went to shake their hands before indecently assaulting one of them.

The girl was unhurt, but shaken, and police are appealing for information.

The cyclist is described as black, aged about 35, 5 ft 10 ins tall, of muscular build, with close cropped black hair and a local accent.

He was wearing white trainers, jogging bottoms with cycling shorts.

He gave his first name as Omar and was riding a bike with heavily laden panniers.
