Fluorescent field art display extended
An art exhibition featuring hundreds of fluorescent tubes "planted" in the ground below an electricity pylon will be on for an extra week.
"Field" created by Richard Box, artist-in-residence at the University of Bristol's physics department, had been due to close on Sunday.
There has been huge interest from the public so the light show - which relies on emissions from the power cables above - will stay until Sunday 6 March.
It is on a hillside off the A46 between Bristol and Bath and is open daily from 1700 GMT to 2000 GMT.
Animal sponsor plan
A campaign to encourage people to become involved in the lives of animals at Bristol Dogs' Home has been launched.
The Safe Haven campaign allows people to sponsor individual pens at the shelter and find out about the stories of the animals in them.
Star of the campaign is Ringo, one of 10 cats found by an RSPCA inspector in Bristol being kept in filthy conditions.
