Man charged after 'road-rage' incident
A man has been charged with assault, criminal damage and threatening behaviour following an incident involving an elderly couple in West Runton.

At about 1145 BST on Friday a couple, who are in their 80s, were travelling towards Sheringham on the A149.

There were at least three other vehicles behind them.

All the vehicles were then overtaken by a white pick-up truck.

A short time later, the elderly driver found himself behind the same truck as he stopped at a set of temporary traffic lights in West Runton.

Apparently the truck driver got out of his vehicle, walked over to the pensioner and allegedly assaulted him.

Police are asking the drivers or passengers of the vehicles overtaken by the pick-up truck to come forward.
