Two tied up by robbers
Golf club CCTV
Detectives have released security camera pictures

Police are hunting masked raiders who tied up two caretakers during a burglary at a golf club.

The robbers struck at the Blacklands Golf Club near Devizes during locking up time just after 2300 BST on Thursday.

The staff were threatened and forced to sit on the floor while the pair broke into gaming and vending machines, stealing money and cigarettes.

The caretakers managed to break free and raise the alarm.

Police said the men were unhurt but left very shaken.

A Wiltshire police spokesman said: "The offenders left having tied up the staff who broke loose after 10 minutes and raised the alarm.

"The police helicopter and ground units were alerted but the offenders had already left the area."

It is believed the thieves parked their vehicle on or near the main road outside the club and police want to speak to motorists who were in the area at the time.
