About 80 jobs are to be lost at a car refurbishment business in Bedfordshire.
Pantech Vehicle Services is making 80 people redundant at its site at Thurleigh near Bedford.
Car rental firms that use Pantech's services have seen a drop in business following the Iraq war, which has caused a knock on effect, a company spokesman said.
Sales and marketing director Gerry Lynch said he hoped the slump in business was short term and would pick up by the end of the year.
He said the company had invested heavily in Corby after winning new contracts.
He said 30 jobs had been created there.
