Arnie back as Terminator
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Schwarzenegger is also hinting at plans to run for governor in California
Arnold Schwarzenegger thrilled fans when he arrived at the world première of his £100m film Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines.

Schwarzenegger, 55, accompanied by his wife Maria Shriver, happily posed with fans outside the cinema in Los Angeles on Monday.

He has stepped back into his role as the Terminator, a cyborg which stops all in his path, 12 years on from the character's last blockbuster outing.

Also on the red carpet was Kristanna Loken, 23, who plays villainous robot T-X.

The half-Norwegian, half-American actress fights Schwarzenegger in the film, which is lined up to be one of this summer's blockbusters.

The film is set for UK release next month.

Last week Schwarzenegger held an exclusive screening of the movie for marines at Camp Pendleton, California.
