Night time medical cover returns
Nurses (generic)
More staff have been recruited
Holidaymakers and local people in Bridlington once again have access to a 24 hour accident unit.

Staffing shortages have meant the minor injuries unit at Bridlington Hospital has been closed overnight for the past six months.

During that time, anyone who injured themselves had to travel to Hull or Scarborough for treatment.

A successful recruitment drive means continuous coverage has been reinstated in time for the busy summer period.

This is being claimed as a victory by the Save Bridlington Hospital Campaign which aims to keep the medical services in the town.
