The girl from Cumbria scooped a share of Saturday night's National Lottery jackpot by matching six numbers in the main draw.

According to the Sun newspaper, the girl is 16 and the second youngest jackpot winner.

She has told Camelot she wants to go abroad and take her family on a shopping spree.

The girl matched numbers 1, 10, 17, 23, 29, and 35, netting herself £1,875,000.

A spokeswoman for Camelot said: "A teenager from Cumbria is looking forward to taking her first holiday abroad and treating her and her close family after matching all six numbers to win £1,875,000 on the Lottery jackpot draw on Saturday."

The youngest winner was Tracey Makin, who scooped more than £1m aged 16 and two months, the Sun said.
