Police say it is lucky the injury was not more serious

Police on Teesside have arrested a teenager after an eight-year-old boy was shot in the face with an airgun.
The boy was playing with a group of older children at a recreation ground in Stockton on Wednesday evening.
He suffered minor injuries just below his eyes, and was treated at Middlesbrough General Hospital but later released.
Officers from Cleveland Police have now arrested an 18-year-old man from Stockton.
He was being interviewed by police about the incident.
