Police investigating the murder of a man in an Anglesey bedsit have used a helicopter with a high-resolution camera to search for clues.
North Wales Police took advantage of the exceptionally low tides in Holyhead harbour on Thursday evening in a bid to find evidence that could help them solve the murder of 41-year-old Michael Sheridan.
Mr Sheridan's body was discovered with a single stab wound in his flat in Stanley Crescent on 22 March.
Police believe he may have been killed on 5 February, the last day he is known to have been seen alive.
Suitcase
Detectives were hoping the helicopter sweep of the harbour would reveal property which belonged to Mr Sheridan.
They included a green suitcase which had been missing from his flat when his body was found after his landlady raised the alarm.
A police underwater search team was standing by to retrieve anything the camera captures.
A man and a woman were arrested and released on police bail in connection with the murder last month.
Police are still anxious to hear from anyone who saw Mr Sheridan on Wednesday, 5 February.
They are being urged to telephone 0845 6071001 or 6071002, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
