Man killed in lorry fire identified

Police have identified the man who was killed in a lorry fire in Grimsby.

Derek Bailey, 48, of Clovelly Road, Bideford, Devon, had been delivering garden ornaments to the Homebase store in Victoria Road South when he was killed.

The father of four was sleeping overnight in his cab before the journey back to Devon.

His truck was found on fire at 0600 BST on 29 June.

Humberside Police are treating his death as an unlawful killing.

They are trying to trace a dark-coloured old style Vauxhall Cavalier car which was seen outside the Homebase store just before midnight on Wednesday.
