Hero's widow gives birth

The Hussains already had one daughter
The widow of a man who was killed while giving chase to suspected armed robbers has given birth to the couple's second child.

Tasawar Hussain saw a security guard being robbed at gunpoint in Lumb Lane in Bradford in January.

After giving chase, 36-year-old Mr Hussain was shot and killed.

On Friday, Nailia Hussain gave birth to a girl at Bradford Royal Infirmary.

The couple already had one daughter, Haarisha, who is now aged six.

Last month, Mr Hussain was given a posthumous bravery award by the police.

Derek Elener, 64, of Reevy Road, Buttershaw and his 42-year-old son, Barry, from Freshfield Gardens, Allerton, have been charged with murder and are awaiting trial.
