Five hurt while watching race
An investigation is underway after five people were hurt while watching a fund-raising race.

Scaffolding holding up the race clock at the finish line of the Humber Bridge Half Marathon on Sunday collapsed injuring some of those who were nearby.

A man suffered a foot injury while a woman injured her head.

Both were taken to Hull Royal Infirmary.

Three other people were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The race was won by Andy Parker from Bolton in a time of one hour, eight minutes, nine seconds.
