Charges dropped in Mansell case
Nigel Mansell
Nigel Mansell has had a house in Jersey for four years
Charges against five men following an incident at the Jersey home of former Formula One Champion Nigel Mansell have been dropped.

Stephen Carter, Brendan Monks, and Paul Duffy, all aged 20, and 19-year-old Alexander Frain and David Cummins,18, were accused of breaching the peace.

But after the prosecution offered no evidence against them the charges against all five men were dropped.

The arrests followed an incident at Mr Mansell's St Brelade home in April when he challenged a group of youths on his land.

Mr Monks also had a charge of resisting arrest dropped, while Mr Frain had a charge of resisting lawful custody dismissed.
