The Highways Agency will use the monitors to measure traffic flow

Various sliproads on the A14 in Northamptonshire will be closed overnight at different times during the first week in July to allow for the installation of traffic detector loops on four junctions.
Installation work will start on Tuesday and last until Saturday.
Junction 10 at Burton Latimer, the eastbound road off the A14 onto the A6, and also Junction 8 at Kettering, which heads off the A14 onto the A43 and A6013, will be closed overnight from 2200 on Tuesday to 0500 BST on Wednesday.
Junction 9 at Kettering, which takes motorists westbound off the A14 onto the A509 road, will be closed overnight from Wednesday to Thursday.
And from Friday night to Saturday morning, westbound Junction 13 at Thrapston will be closed.
Neil Doherty, Highways Agency Project Sponsor, said the loops are part of a system being installed on motorways and trunk roads throughout England to monitor traffic patterns.
He said: "Drivers wishing to use the slip roads will need to follow local diversions, which will be signed for the duration of the works.
"A further two detector loops are to be installed on slip roads on the A14 later in July. The public will be
informed of these once the dates have been confirmed."
