Multi-million pound college plan
Plans have been drawn up to revamp Stafford College at a cost of £2.5m.

Proposals for a new arts department, sportshall and extension to the nursery at the college have been submitted to Stafford Borough Council.

The college wants to form a new main campus on Earl Street in the town.

The plans include an extra floor on the Whiteley building leading to the sale of the Oval annex, which currently houses the art teaching programme.

Money from the sale of the Oval would be ploughed back into the new projects.

Plans for an extension to the nursery and sportshall are also included in the proposals.

The plan is due to be discussed by councillors within the next few months.
