Eminem apes balcony stunt
Eminem's stunt made fun of Jackson's Berlin baby-dangling incident

Rapper Eminem stunned fans in Glasgow by making fun of Michael Jackson's recent baby-dangling incident at a Berlin hotel.

Eminem, who played at Hampden Park on Tuesday night, came out to his hotel room balcony wearing a black and white tracksuit and a surgical mask, and holding a baby doll.

The 30-year-old rapper then threw the doll in the air and pretended he was about to let it drop off the balcony of the Arthouse hotel.

The joke made fun of November's furore when Jackson, in Berlin for an awards ceremony, came out to the balcony of his Berlin hotel with his eight-month-old son Prince Michael II and held him up to a crowd of fans 50ft below.

Eminem then gave his fans a clenched-fist salute and returned to his room.

The performer had earlier asked to have the windows blacked out to help him get some sleep, a hotel spokeswoman told BBC News Online.

Eminem is currently on the British leg of his Anger Management tour.

On Monday's concert at Milton Keynes, Eminem handed a necklace he claimed was worth £275,000 to a fan.

He later admitted the item was only worth £500.
