A 40-year-old man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for kidnapping and robbing a student.
Alfred Kosi Kutsoati, from Whitefield Road, Bury, was one of four men who abducted the 23-year-old victim in Withington, Manchester.
He was found guilty of kidnap and robbery at Manchester Crown Court, Crown Square, on Wednesday.
Police are still looking for the other three men involved in the incident.
The student was walking along Parrs Wood Road in February when the four men, with scarves around their faces, grabbed him.
They pulled the man onto the back seat of the car and punched him, before driving to a cashpoint and forcing him to draw money out.
The gang drove the man around for a total of 45 minutes, before dumping him with his face covered and his hands tied.
Detective Constable Dave McCulloch, of Greater Manchester Police, said: "This was a terrifying experience for the victim and today's sentence clearly illustrates that incidents of this nature are treated very seriously.
"Kutsoati and the other men involved showed no hesitation in threatening and using violence against the victim, and it is fortunate that he was not more seriously injured."
