Girl 'indecently assaulted' in park

A teenage girl has been indecently assaulted in north Belfast.

The 14-year-old was walking in Ballysillan playing fields shortly after 1900 BST on Saturday when a teenage boy on a motorised scooter approached.

He pushed the girl to the ground and then indecently assaulted and punched her.

The boy escaped towards Alliance Parade.

The police say there were a number of people in the area who could have witnessed the incident.
