Rapper Eminem stunned the crowd at his final show in Milton Keynes by handing a necklace, apparently worth £275,000, to a shocked fan.

He told the 65,000 capacity crowd at the Anger Management Tour gig that he was going to give away the chain and pendant he was wearing - which he said was worth $450,000 - to one of the crowd.

"I'm going to give this to the sexiest woman I see," he said on Monday.

Eminem then leaned over from the stage into the crowd and gave his jewellery to a young woman standing at the front.

However, according to the Sun newspaper, the necklace was worth just £500.

It reported Eminem's spokesman as saying the rapper had exaggerated the value of the sparkling gift.

Toby Friedner, who was standing about 60 metres from the woman, said the favoured fan was overcome.

"I could clearly see what it was from where I was.

"It looked like a huge diamond-encrusted crucifix.

"The girl he gave it to was blonde, pretty, wearing glasses and 18 to 20.

"The camera stayed on her the whole time while he handed over the necklace and she was obviously shocked."
