Rapist attacks teenager
Henshaw Lane, Oldham
The woman was attacked outside the White House pub
Police are hunting a man who raped a 14-year-old girl in Greater Manchester after offering her a lift.

The girl left the Liquid nightclub in Oldham with friends but was walking alone along Horsedge Street at about 0215 BST on Saturday when the man drove up alongside her in a red car.

She got into his car and he drove her to outside the White House pub, in Henshaw Street, where he attacked her.

Greater Manchester Police are now investigating whether the man has attacked other women in the area.

Detective Constable Jason Ruff appealed for any victims to call police in confidence.

He said: "This was a terrible experience for the girl and she has been left extremely distressed by what happened.

"I am appealing for the public's help in catching this man and if anyone saw a car matching the description or saw anything suspicious in the area I would urge them to get in touch and tell us what they know.
