Murder charge after body found

A man has been charged with murder after a body was found in a flat in Sheffield.

Jonathan Hatton, 33, of Gervase Walk, Low Edges, was due to appear before magistrates in the city on Tuesday.

The body of Richard Pashley, 49, from the Ecclesfield area of Sheffield, was found by police on Sunday in a flat in Gervase Walk.

He had died of multiple injuries following a sustained attack, the post-mortem examination revealed.
