Man charged over drugs haul
Ecstasy tablets
The drugs haul is valued at about £100,000
A man has been charged in connection with the seizure of a large quantity of what is believed to be ecstasy tablets.

About 20,000 of the tablets were found at a property in Plymouth on Monday.

Officers from Devon and Cornwall Police say the pills could have a street value of about £100,000.

A 22-year-old man will appear before Plymouth magistrates on Wednesday, charged with the possession of class A and B drugs with intent to supply.

The tablets, weighing seven kilograms, are to be sent off for forensic testing.

If they are identified as ecstasy, the haul will be the largest in the South West this year.
