Three held over sports car raid
Ben Lewis was shot, stabbed and beaten
Two teenagers from Luton have been charged with aggravated burglary after a theft at the home of Royston racing driver, Ben Lewis.

Sajad Choudry, 18, will appear before magistrates on Friday, along with a 16-year-old youth.

Three other teenagers from Luton are still being questioned by detectives.

Two luxury sports cars - a Mercedes SL55 AMG Kompressor convertible and a silver BMW M3 - were stolen from Mr Lewis's home at Royse Grove, Royston, Hertfordshire, on Friday, 20 June.

Mr Lewis, who works as a commercial pilot and has won Formula Palmer Audi races, was shot in the shoulder, stabbed in the face, beaten and had tendons slashed in his hand during the incident.

On Tuesday night Mr Lewis returned home after treatment for his injuries at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.
