A man has been charged under the Terrorism Act with having weapons and instructions for making explosive devices.
Shazad Ashraf, 32, is accused of possessing "combat books, quasi-military information and tactical planning material".
He is also charged with having false travel documents and banking material.
He has been charged with possessing items "for the purposes of terrorism" and articles containing information useful for terrorism.
Mr Ashraf is being held in custody.
He will appear at Bow Street Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
