Police have issued a warning after a doctor's car containing potentially lethal drugs was stolen.
The car, a silver VW Golf, was taken from the driveway of a house in Chipstead, Sevenoaks, between 2050 BST on Wednesday and 0815BST on Thursday.
Police believe thieves 'fished' the car keys from inside the house through the letterbox.
The drugs taken include three ampoules of an extremely dangerous drug diamorphine, which was contained in a locked aluminium box, police said.
'Could prove fatal'
A prescription pad and other medical drugs were inside a doctor's bag in the car.
West Kent Police have warned members of the public to be on their guard.
Detective Constable Keith McGinn said: "These drugs are dangerous.
"If they are taken without being correctly prescribed they could cause real harm or even prove fatal."
Anyone with information about the drugs should contact their local police station immediately.
