Mr Waters' body was found at Burnt House Farm
A 43-year-old man has appeared in court accused of murdering a market trader at a farm in Cheshire.

James Stewart Raven, of Radcliffe, Bury, Greater Manchester, was remanded in custody by Macclesfield magistrates and will appear at Chester Crown Court at a later date.

He is accused of killing Brian Waters, 43, whose body was found at Burnt House Farm, in Tabley, near Knutsford, on Thursday.

A post-mortem examination revealed the father-of-two had died from multiple injuries caused by a blunt instrument.

Another man was found with serious injuries at the side of the farm.

Mr Raven is also accused of attempted murder and indecent assault.

Detectives are still hunting two men who were spotted running away from the farm after the incident.
