Bodies found in City worker search

Police searching for a young City worker, who failed to return home from a night out, have found the bodies of a man and a woman.

Keely Donovan, 22, disappeared on Friday night after telling colleagues she was meeting an old friend for a drink after work.

Her parents received a text message from her phone saying she would be returning soon, but she never turned up at their home in Chingford.

On Sunday evening officers discovered the body of a woman in her early 20s at an address in Leyton, east London. Her death is being treated as murder.

At nearby Ilford Station, the body of a 24-year-old man was found on rail tracks.

'Open mind'

He has been named as Kin Bruno Rothe, from Leyton, a friend of Miss Donovan's.

The woman has not been formally identified, but Miss Donovan's parents have been informed of the find.

A spokesman said they were keeping an "open mind" regarding the circumstances of both deaths.

A post-mortem examination found the woman's death had been caused by an "obstruction to the upper airway".
