At least 24 people have died and nearly 20 injured in a road accident in Pakistan's Punjab province.
A passenger bus crashed head-on into an oil tanker near the town of Shorkot, more than 200 kilometres southwest of the provincial capital, Lahore.
The injured have been admitted to three different hospitals.
A police official told the BBC that the oil tanker was on its way from Multan to Sargodha, while the bus was carrying passengers from Islamabad to Bahawalpur.
Reports say the bus crashed into the tanker after spinning out of control.
The tanker did not explode.
The two drivers were among those killed.
Frequent road accidents in Pakistan are attributed to poorly maintained roads and rash driving.
In June last year, at least 40 pilgrims died when a bus fell off a bridge in Punjab.
In a similar accident 24 hours earlier, 10 people died and 50 were injured when a bus turned over and fell from a railway bridge near Lahore.
