Munaf Muhammed was shot in the head

Police have arrested a second man in connection with the murder of a man in Walsall.

A 20-year-old man from Walsall has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Munaf Muhammed.

Mr Muhammed, 20, who had been shot in the head, was found in a car in Gladstone Street at 2330 BST on Tuesday.

He was taken to Walsall Manor Hospital where he later died.

Witness appeal

A19-year-old man who was arrested shortly after the incident is still being questioned by police.

Suckvir Khan, who lives on the street where the shooting took place, said she and her family did not find out about the incident until Wednesday morning.

"We didn't hear anything last night, but when we woke at four o'clock in the morning and actually found what happened we had a right shock.

"A shooting on our own doorstep."

Detective Superintendent Andy Hunter, from West Midlands Police, said he wanted to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time.
