A factory in Leicester is being forced to close after community complaints about smelly emissions.
Saracens Dyers, on Aylestone Road, has been the subject of several court actions by the city council.
For four years residents have complained about foul-smelling emissions.
The land agent has now asked the company to leave the site at the end of November when its lease expires.
Jill Drinkwater, who has lived near the factory for 40 years, said many people were relieved by the news.
However she said hundreds of people still faced several more months of misery.
