A man has been charged with murder following the discovery of the body of Lincolnshire teenager, Laura Torn.

She was last seen walking home from her local pub in the village of Owston Ferry, north Lincolnshire, in the early hours of 27 April.

Police found her body in a haystack at Misson in Nottinghamshire, a few miles from the main search area, at 1800 BST on Wednesday.

Police on Thursday charged 31-year-old Guy Philip Beckett, of Burnham Square in Owston Ferry, with murder.

He is also charged with arson in connection with a fire at a pub on 25 April.

Mr Beckett will appear before Scunthorpe Magistrates on Friday.
