Woman killed in crash named
A woman who died in a car accident in Somerset at the weekend has been named by police.

Mary Anderson, 53, of Sarn, south Wales, was killed when the car she was in collided with another vehicle on the A36 in Norton St Philip on Saturday.

Ms Anderson was a rear seat passenger in a Ford Focus estate car travelling towards Bath.

She died when it collided with a Toyota Hiace van travelling in the opposite direction at about 1315 BST near the junction with the A366 at Brown Shutters.

Police investigating the accident are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
