Fire disrupts commuter trains
Central Trains
Central Trains apologised for the cancellations
A fire caused the closure of the Robin Hood Line between Nottingham and Mansfield on Monday morning.

Trains were cancelled as a precaution due to the fire in outbuildings near the line in Hucknall.

The alarm was raised at the factory buildings on Storey Lane at 2330 BST on Sunday.

When firefighters discovered potentially explosive acetylene gas cylinders were involved, they set up a exclusion zone.

Central Trains have set up a rail shuttle between Mansfield and Worksop but trains were cancelled between Mansfield and Nottingham.

Buses were laid on instead.

Services started to run normally at around 1430 BST on Monday

The company apologised for the disruption, saying it was made worse by wet weather.
