Man 'poorly' after road crash
A man is in intensive care in hospital after an accident on the A66 in Cumbria.

A BMW car, driven by the man, collided with a caravan which was being towed by a four by four vehicle at High Briery, between Keswick and Threlkeld.

Another car hit the back of the caravan in the accident at lunchtime on Sunday.

The driver of the BMW had to be cut out of his car, and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

His condition is described as "poorly" in the Cumberland Infirmary.
