Murder arrest after body discovered
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a body was found in a flat in Sheffield.

South Yorkshire Police found the remains of a man, who has not been identified, in the living room of a flat in Gervase Walk in Low Edges on Sunday morning.

He had died of multiple injuries following a sustained attack, the post mortem examination revealed.

A 33-year-old local man has been arrested and is being questioned by police.

Officers are carrying out house-to-house inquiries in the area, while forensic teams search the flat.

They have appealed for help to identify the dead man.

He is described as white, between 45 and 65-years-old, 5ft 6, of medium build with a tanned complexion and a bald crown with curly grey hair.
