Two police constables were injured when their patrol car crashed in Scarborough.
The female officers were on their way to an incident in Seamer at just after 0330 BST on Sunday.
At the junction of Seamer Road and Hinderwell Road in Scarborough their Peugeot 306 left the road and collided with a lamppost and a garden wall.
Both officers received slight injuries and were discharged after treatment at Scarborough Hospital.
A police spokesman said the officers had the car's blue flashing lights turned on.
The road was closed for four hours while other officers examined the area.
