A new-born baby girl found abandoned in Ayrshire has been transferred to a hospital in Glasgow.
The little girl, who has been named Sarah by nurses, remains in a critical condition.
She is being considered for specialised lung treatment at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children at Yorkhill.
Strathclyde Police say they are anxious to trace the baby's mother as she may require medical attention.
The child was discovered by a member of the public outside a house in Howat Crescent, Irvine, shortly before 1000 BST on Saturday.
She weighed 5lb 7oz and was wrapped in two green towels and one yellow/white towel.

The baby was taken to Ayrshire Central Hospital, where she was treated in the neo-natal intensive care unit.
Sarah was transferred to the Yorkhill hospital on Sunday.
A Strathclyde Police spokeswoman said concern was growing for the mother.
"We really would appeal to this person to contact ourselves at the hospital to seek help," she said.
"The longer time goes on, the more our concern grows for her well-being.
"Her baby is in the best possible place to receive the help she needs and it is important that the mother comes forward."
Incident room
Police have urged anyone with information on the identity of the baby or her mother to come forward.
"We just need to know that the mother is okay, but we don't want to frighten her," added the spokeswoman.
"We don't want her to think she has done anything wrong."
An incident room has been set up at Irvine police office, which can be contacted on 01294 404410.
