Men questioned after road death
Two men are being questioned by police following a fatal road crash.

A man, who has not been identified, died after his silver Vauxhall Vectra was in collision with a red Renault Clio on the A34 in Oxfordshire.

Both cars ended up in fields near to Abingdon following the collision on Thursday night.

The driver of the Renault was taken to the John Radcliffe II hospital in Oxford but was dead on arrival.

The road's northbound carriageway was closed for more than six hours.

The two men, both in their 20s, are currently being questioned at Abingdon police station.

Thames Valley Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
