'Vital robbery clues' woman sought
Police are appealing for a woman who holds vital clues about a robbery to come forward.

The woman dropped a note describing the robber into the Spar shop, in High Street, Cottenham, Cambridgeshire, after it was raided on 18 May.

The man, who was thought to be armed with a knife, demanded a bag full of cigarettes from a 19-year-old shop assistant.

He is described as white, 25 to 30-years-old, 5 ft 8 in tall and slim.

Baseball cap

He had a blonde shaven head and crooked front teeth and was wearing a yellow hoop earring in his left ear and a yellow baseball cap with a white tee-shirt and black trousers.

The note suggested he escaped in a small red hatchback vehicle and that the woman, who left her name, had more information.

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said on Tuesday that detectives now want to speak to her and anyone else with information about the raid.

They should contact Detective Constable Yvette Clover at Histon Police Station of 01223 358966 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
