Man knocked over by taxi
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was hit by a taxi in Lancashire.

The accident happened outside the King William pub at London Road, at about 0020 BST on Friday.

The 28-year-old man suffered head injuries after he was knocked over near to the Primrose Hill junction.

He is being treated in the Royal Preston Hospital.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.
