E-fit of attacker
Police said the man was wearing dark trousers and white trainers
An e-fit picture has been released by police in an attempt to catch a man who attacked a woman in Hastings, East Sussex.

Police said the woman was badly injured around the head when she was pulled to the ground in the unprovoked attack.

It happened in Lords Lane, a rough track which runs between Fairlight and Offa Roads at about 2020 BST on 18 April.

Since the incident police have been gathering information to compile an image of the attacker.

The woman described the man as white, 34 to 35 years old, with short dark hair, prominent dark eyebrows and stubble.

Police said he was wearing dark trousers, white trainers and had a southern accent.

He was also wearing either a big silver chain or watch on his wrist.

Sussex Police wants to hear from anyone who may recognise the attacker.
