Fire hit restaurant due to reopen
Fire in Tombland
The fire was tackled by firefighters on Monday
A Spanish restaurant in Norwich which caught fire is expected to reopen this weekend.

More than 40 firefighters tackled the blaze at La Tasca in Tombland.

The cause of the fire is not known, but it is thought an electrical fault could be to blame.

Fire crews were called to the La Tasca just before 0530 BST on Monday.

The restaurant is in an historic building in the Tombland area, backing on to the city's Cathedral Close.

Many legal and commercial businesses are situated in the area, as well as the Norwich Diocese offices.
