Police have named a man they want to question about the murder of a eight month pregnant woman in her own home.

Scotland Yard is offering a £10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Palwinder Singh Dhillon, 64, and is adding him to its 'most wanted' list.

He is wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of 22-year-old Anita Gindha on 19 February.

She was strangled in front of her 18-month-old son at her house in Gainsborough Road, Manor Park, east London.

Her husband found her on the sofa when he returned from work.

There were no signs of a struggle or forced entry and it is thought she may have let the killer into the house.

A motive for the killing is still being investigated but there is no evidence to suggest it was racially or sexually motivated.

Detective Inspector Stuart Wratten said: "Anita was heavily pregnant and completely defenceless against her attacker, who had no concern for the fact that her young son was with her at the time.

"As part of our investigation we would now like to speak to Mr Dhillon and would urge anyone who knows his whereabouts or who may have seen a man matching his description to contact us immediately."

Mr Dhillon, who is originally from Punjab, is described as having a long white beard and wearing a turban.
