Unique kite collection stolen
A champion kite flier from Herefordshire is appealing for 10 custom-made kites to be returned to him.

Peter Taylor's kites, which are worth at least £3,000, were stolen from a car in Epsom Walk, Hereford, in the early hours of 27 May.

Mr Taylor, who also designs kites, holds the world record for indoor flying with more than one kite.

He said he is extremely upset at losing what is a unique collection.

Mr Taylor, the organiser of the Herefordshire Kite Festival, said the brightly-coloured, patterned kites would be instantly recognisable to a fellow enthusiast.

He is asking anyone with information to contact the police.
