Man held over tower block murder

A Coventry man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Officers were called to a tower block in Walsgrave just after 0300 BST on Monday, where the body of a 22-year-old man was discovered.

Police are interviewing a 35-year-old man in connection with the death.

The victim, who was found with stab wounds at Vincent Wiles House in Attoxhall Road, has not been formally identified.

A post mortem was due to be carried out on Monday afternoon.

Detectives said there is no clear motive for the killing and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
