Robber drives victim to bank
Police are hunting a man who duped his way into the home of an elderly man and then forced him to go to the bank to withdraw cash.

The man tricked his way into the victim's home in Knighton, Leicester on Tuesday lunchtime.

He stole cash and a cheque book before driving his elderly victim to the Co-operative Bank in Market Place.

But staff became suspicious when the old man went to withdraw the cash and went outside to find the thief had fled.

The suspect is described as white, about 6ft tall and of stocky build.

He was wearing a smart blue suit.

Police said the man was left shaken by the ordeal.
