Coronation music heard in Hereford
A selection of the music which was used 50 years ago at the Queen's coronation can be heard again at Hereford Cathedral.

The cathedral choir is celebrating the occasion as part of a special choral evensong during which they will perform several pieces as they were arranged in 1953.

The event will take place on Monday evening.

Organist and choirmaster at the cathedral, Geraint Bowen, believes it is important for other churches to follow suit.

"We think there will be celebrations all across the country," he said.

"We held a similar celebration last year when we marked the 50th anniversary of the accession and we chose another piece of music from the coronation for that."
